Kevin Belingon Will Enter The Cage Once Again This Coming March. He Will Be Fighting An Undefeated South Korean

In his most recent outing, Kevin Belingon gave David Aranda Santacana of Spain his first loss. And he did it in devastating fashion. A hook from the Ifugao native knocked the Spaniard unconscious in the very first stanza of the fight. The winning punch made it to One Fighting Championship's top 5 knockouts of the year. With it, Belingon sent a statement to those planning on sharing the ring with him. If you try to stand and strike with the guy, there's a chance you're going to pay for it with your consciousness.

The fight with Santacana happened just over a month ago. Now, it has been officially announced that Belingon will be returning to the cage sooner than we expected. He will be co-headlining One FC: War of Nations which will happen on March 14, 2014. Venue will be at the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He will be facing Dae Hwan Kim, a fighter from South Korea who is undefeated in nine professional fights.

Belingon fought his last six fights under the One FC banner. His record under the promotional company stands at 3 wins and 3 losses. All three wins were via knockouts. He lost by decision twice and by submission once.
For Dae Hwan Kim, it's his second fight under One FC. He's a more complete fighter compared to most of Belingon's previous opponents. Kim can strike, grapple and wrestle. With that said, although he will likely enter the cage as an underdog against Belingon, he is a HUGE threat. It's no secret that Belingon like most Team Lakay fighters struggle against wrestlers and grapplers. Dave Galera's recent loss to Royston Wee is the perfect proof to this assertion. With that said, Belingon needs to improve on his takedown defense and wrestling skills if he plans on keeping this upcoming tussle on his feet.

The complete lineup for One FC: War of Nations hasn't been announced. So there's a chance that other Team Lakay fighters might find themselves being added to the lineup.
