Turquoise Flycatcher Sightings in Benguet, Mountain Province, and Baguio City

This beautiful bird is the Turquoise Flycatcher (Eumyias panayensis). The first photo is a juvenile meaning it's not mature. When young, the bird has brown and spotted feathers with blue wings and tail. When mature, the bird is bright turquoise-blue with a white belly. 

These birds are endemic to the Philippines and Indonesia. Meaning they are found only in these two countries.

Conservation Status: Least Concern (LC)

These birds were spotted in:
1. Bauko, Mountain Province 
2. Mt. Pulag, Kabayan, Benguet 
3. Baguio City
