Watch The Charles Darwin Bits As Featured On The Video Game 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate'

"I am used to people challenging my ideas. In fact, I live for it....the cut and thrust of spirited debate. Lately, however, attacks against my reputation have taken a darker turn." - Charles Darwin in Assassin's Creed Syndicate

Charles Darwin, the English geologist and naturalist who is most well-known for his contributions to the theory of evolution, is coming alive in an upcoming video game scheduled to be released on the 23rd of October this year. Darwin may not be the main character nor focus of the game but based on footage from the game that was put on YouTube, several missions in the game will involve the bearded scientist. The video game is called Assassin's Creed Syndicate, the ninth installment in the popular Assassin's Creed game series. It will hit shelves for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 23 and on November 29 for the PC.

In the footage uploaded on YouTube by the gaming channel outsidexbox, the protagonists are seen searching for and finding Darwin at his London home, tending to his flower garden. They then assist Darwin in several missions that include eliminating one of Darwin's rivals, retrieving a controversial but very valuable fossil, and getting rid of a stash of poisonous plants that endanger Londoners.
