Fund-Raising Concert To Be Held For Baguio Musician Who Died In A Hit And Run Incident

In the early morning of February 11, Baguio City lost one of its most talented musicians. Raymond John Tacis, known to family and friends as RJ, was ran over by an out-of-control car in front of Saint Louis University along Bonifacio Street. The promising 21-year old musician took his last breath while lying helpless in the cold pavement. The driver of the red car that hit him sped away. The battered car was recently found somewhere along Marcos Highway but the driver was nowhere to be found.

A series of concerts will be held from February 14 to 16 at the Concoctions Bar and Resto along Upper General Luna Road to raise funds for Raymond, call for justice, and celebrate the life he lived and the music he breathed. The concerts will start at 7 PM sharp and there will be an entrance fee of 50 pesos per person. All proceeds will be given to the family of the departed.
Artists and bands from all over Baguio City will be performing in the series of concerts. For more information, you can contact the Concoctions Bar and Resto on their Facebook page here.
