A camote-peeling contest was one of the games played by attendees at the 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 in Baguio City. Each participant in the game was given half a sack of sweet potatoes. They were instructed to peel as many camotes as they can within 30 minutes.
After the 30-minute deadline, the piles of peeled potatoes were weighed. Whoever peeled the heaviest pile wins the contest. - December 12, 2025
