Igorot Men at a Spear-Throwing Contest at the 1904 World's Fair

Igorot men taking turns in a spear-throwing contest at the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904. Notice the line drawn in the dirt.

Many of the indigenous peoples from all over the world that were brought to the fair were also asked by the fair's organizers to engage in similar games like archery and wrestling.

Some even engaged in modern games they are unfamiliar with like shotput throwing and soccer.
