June 16 (Friday) Declared As A Non-Working Holiday In La Trinidad, Benguet

It's going to be a long weekend in the town of La Trinidad in Benguet. June 16 (Friday) has been declared by Malacanang as a special non-working holiday in the municipality. This is in observance of the town's 67th Foundation Day. This year's celebration has the theme "La Trinidad: Where Unity and Friendship Find Home". The anniversary rites will be held at the La Trinidad Municipal Gym. The guest speaker will be Congressman Harry Roque (representative of the Kabayan party list).

Declaring Friday, 16 June 2017, as a Special (Non-Working) Day in the Municipality of La Trinidad, Province of Benguet

Whereas, the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet was organized under Republic Act No. 531 dated 16 June 1950;

Whereas, Friday, 16 June 2017, marks the celebration of the 67th Foundation Day of the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet; and

Whereas, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

Now, therefore, I, Menardo I. Guevarra, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, Rodrigo Roa Duterte, do hereby declare Friday, 16 June 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Repulic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Seventeen.
