3 Cordillera Universities Among The Top 5 Performing Schools In Recent Criminologist Exam

Based on data released on Thursday by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) about the criminologist licensure examination held last October, three universities based in the Cordillera region are among the top five performing schools. University of the Cordilleras (UC) was ranked number one with 65 of its 69 examinees passing the test. In second place is La Trinidad-based King's College of the Philippines (51 out of 56 examinees passed). And in fourth place is Ifugao State University (96 out of 108 examinees passed).

Occupying the third and fifth spots are Southern Leyte State University and Universidad De Manila, respectively. According to the PRC, only 9,671 out of the 29,591 total number of examinees passed the test.

A graduate of the University of the Cordilleras is also among those who topped the exams. Garnering a rating of 89.5, Stephanie Mae Bibat Domingo is ranked number seven on the top ten list.

8. Raff Sienes Dela Pena - University of Mindanao: Tagum
9. Joperson Gregorio Pablo - Sultan Kudarat State University: Tacurong
10. Mikee De Luna Dela Cruz - Our Lady of Fatima University - Valenzuela
