Why You Should Not Take People's Facebook Lives Seriously

Facebook is a place where people share things. Photos, videos, what they ate, what they did, where they went, etc. But just like on any platform, people often go the extra mile to sweeten things up and make them look not what they really are. A photo taken in somebody's room can easily be posted with a caption saying it was taken at some glitzy downtown waterhole.

It's never a good move to take the things you see on Facebook seriously. Because if you do, it can have a negative impact on how you live your own life. Seeing people living lives that are much better than yours can be depressing.

This impact is perfectly portrayed in the short film below created by HigtonBros. Call it cynical, call it anyway you want, but the film speaks a ton of truth.
