The three who perished were identified as Dennis Ingosan Begya, Samuel Ingosan Begya, and Leonardo Pay-oen. The one injured was identified as Franklin Pay-oen. There were no other passengers in the FX car they were using.
According to the Kabayan Police, their personnel were patrolling the area when they came across the injured Franklin Pay-oen walking along the road. They immediately called for a rescue and retrieval operation. Franklin was rushed to the Dennis Molintas Memorial Hospital.
The four came from Loo in Buguias, Benguet and they were on their way to Busilac in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
