Most Wanted Person From The Ilocos Region Arrested In Baguio City

The law finally caught up with a wanted man who has successfully evaded the authorities for more than 15 years. Prudencio Pantaleon was arrested on September 14, 2015 by elements of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at an undisclosed location in Baguio City. Pantaleon is wanted for the crime of murder. He fatally shot his aunt Marie Zuniga on July 17, 2000.

According to the police, Pantaleon fled aboard a motorcycle after committing the crime in Panacol, Aguilar, Pangasinan. Found at the crime scene were three empty shells and a bullet slug. The authorities dangled a reward money worth 140,000 pesos to anyone who can provide information that will lead to his arrest. Prior to his arrest, Pantaleon is one of the Ilocos Region's most wanted men.
