4 People Were Hurt When A Van Fell Off A Ravine Along Kennon Road In Tuba, Benguet

Four people were reportedly injured when the red van they were riding fell off a ravine along a portion of Kennon Road in barangay Twin Peaks in Tuba, Benguet. The Mitsubishi Canter van was being driven by Jessie Estoe with Arjay Zamora, Ben Cabuang, and Zebring Zamora as passengers.

All four were rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC). The accident occurred between 1:00 and 2:00 pm on Monday (July 27).

The van reportedly encountered a mechanical trouble causing the driver to lose control of it. The out-of-control van then fell off a 40-meter deep ravine and settled in the river below. Responders composed of policemen, members of 911 On Call: Baguio, and volunteers, rescued the driver and three passengers then rushed them to the BGHMC where they are currently being treated and observed.
