Team Lakay Fighters Sangcha-an And Eddiva Make Weight For UFC Fight Night Manila

The official weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night Manila is over. And the two fighters from Team Lakay who are part of the undercard successfully made weight. Mark Eddiva weighed in at 145 pounds, the weight limit for the featherweight division. Roldan Sangcha-an weighed in at 126 pounds, the weight limit for the flyweight division.

UFC Fight Night Manila will unfold tonight at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. It will be headlined by a featherweight clash between UFC stars Frankie Edgar and Uriah Faber. Whoever comes out victorious earns a possible shot at the UFC featherweight belt currently held by Jose Aldo of Brazil.

Eddiva will be facing Levan Makashvili who will be making his UFC debut. Makashvili is a late replacement for Alex White who had to pull out of the fight because of an injury. Eddiva and Makashvili share the same fight record. Both have six wins and a single loss. As far as experience in the UFC is concerned, Eddiva has the advantage as he fought twice in the Octagon. He won his UFC debut in Macau, China then lost his second fight in Brazil.

Sangcha-an, on the other hand, will battle it out with Jon delos Reyes of Guam. The two fighters had already seen action in the UFC but both of them are yet to notch a win. Sangcha-an made his debut for the promotion last year in New Zealand and lost. Delos Reyes's last two fights were in the UFC. He lost both of them.

UFC veteran and Fil-Am Mark Munoz is also seeing action tonight in what will be his last professional MMA outing. He will square off against the dangerous striker Gegard Mousasi.
