PRO-COR Celebrated Last Mass for Fallen 44

By Anna Yamagata and Rizel Villanueva (UC PRO-COR Interns) - “Dum Spiro Spero” This was the last lesson imparted by PSupt Rudolfo Ireso Jr., Regional Chaplain of Police Regional Office- Cordillera during the last offertory mass for the Fallen 44 last Friday, February 13 at Saint Paul Church, Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.

PRO-COR started its special mass celebrations in tribute to the SAF members especially those combatants who are from the Cordillera last February 2, Monday after the remains of the 7 Cordilleran SAF members arrived. The said masses given by Fr. Ireso were celebrated for 10 days at the PRO-COR chapel and attended by the officials and staff of the Police Camp.

Prayers for eternal repose of our Fallen Cordilleran Heroes as well as peace for their families had showered the intentional mass every day.

The 10-day mass celebration has bridged the Cordilleran Police Community towards a better and more strengthened professional relationship and spiritual camaraderie.

Fr. Ireso though the special mass had ended asks everyone for continuous prayers for our fallen heroes.

Dum Spiro Spero or While I Breathe I Hope plays as an encouraging reminder to all the bereaved that justice will indeed be served. All we have to do is to patiently wait, for everything will be answered, in His time.
