Honorio Banario Loses To Mongolia's Jadamba Narantungalag In ONE FC: Honor And Glory

Honorio Banario's attempt to get closer to another shot at the One Fighting Championship featherweight belt hit a snag last night when he bowed to Jadamba Narantungalag of Mongolia at ONE FC 16: Honor and Glory. Fighting before thousands of MMA fans at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Banario and Narantungalag slugged it out in one of the best fights of the night. They went the whole three rounds in an action-filled bout. Narantungalag earned the victory via unanimous decision.

With the loss, Banario is now in a three-bout losing streak. He held the ONE FC featherweight belt briefly but lost it on his first defense against Japan's Koji Oishi. He also lost the rematch with Oishi. Narantungalag, with the win, earned the right to challenge Oishi for the title. Banario and Narantungalag's records now stand at 8-4-0 and 9-3-0 respectively.
