One Of The Two Dead Men Found In Tuba, Benguet Has Been Identified

In the morning of October 15, the bodies of two dead men were found along a stretch of the highway in Poyopoy, Taloy Sur in Tuba, Benguet. One of the cadavers has already been identified. According to a reporter from Bombo Radyo Baguio, the man's name was Isidro B. Cerdineola, 34 years old and hailing from Urdaneta City in Pangasinan.

The authorities are still investigating as to the circumstances surrounding the crime. It can be recalled that a garbage scavenger found one of the men. He immediately reported what he saw to the Tuba police. The second cadaver was found nearby by the responding policemen.

Both men were wearing shorts and t-shirts. One was placed in a sack with his feet bound and his head wrapped with packing tape. The other victim's feet and hands were bound. He also had a nylon rope tied around his neck. Initial investigation showed that they expired from asphyxiation due to strangulation.

The police believe that the two men were killed in another location and dumped in Tuba. It's still unknown if the two cases are related.

The area where the men were found is infamously known as a dumping ground by lawless entities. Just this year alone, five bodies have already been found dumped there. - [Sources: Sun Star Baguio, Bombo Radyo]
