Results of the 1998 Cordillera Autonomy Plebiscite
The second plebiscite for Cordillera autonomy was held in 1998, eight years after the first one in 1990 where Cordillerans overwhelmingly voted against autonomy.
Again, all of the provinces rejected autonomy except for Apayao. In the 1990 plebiscite, only Ifugao voted for autonomy.
